  • This is the first production model from the Warrior factory of my Signature guitar. J.D. Lewis from Warrior surprised me with this incredible gift at the Winter NAMM 2001 show in Anaheim, California. He asked me to open up a guitar case to give him my opinion about a new guitar that he had just built for someone. As soon as I opened it and saw that it was my model, I cried. He said, "Merry Christmas!" and play it like you mean it.

The picture we have doesn't do it justice. The translucent purple on top of the quilt top is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The fingerboard actually lights up, using a fiber optic light network that glows through the sword and shield inlays. It is a heavenly blue. For those of you who don't know what the sword and shield represents, the sword is the Word of God, and the shield is the faith. WOW!

I am so honored to have my own Signature guitar and to have been given this as a gift from Warrior Instruments! To keep the tradition of naming my guitars, I will name this beauty "J.D."

    Thank you God!
